Almost 80% of large U.S. maritime industry companies surveyed reported that cyberattackers targeted their companies within the past year, according to a new maritime cybersecurity survey.
In a recently released Fairplay/BIMCO/ABS maritime industry survey, nearly half of the 237 respondents reported that their company's annual cybersecurity budget is less than $10,000.
“84% of company directors believe that their IT department is able to protect their organizations from a cyber-attack.” These were the findings of a research study by AIG conducted inthe UK two years ago.
